Tinubu lost in the US court because to the independence of the American judiciary, according to Phrank Shaibu

According to Phrank Shaibu, Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in the 2023 election, was ultimately defeated at the Northern District of Illinois court due to the independence of the American judiciary. Phrank Shaibu is Atiku’s special assistant on public communications.

He made this statement in response to Justice Nancy Maldonado’s directive to Chicago State University to give Atiku access to all of Tinubu’s academic records.

He said that since 1999, when renowned human rights attorney Gani Fawehinmi (SAN) first exposed Tinubu’s certificate fraud, when he first tried to elude justice.

According to Atiku’s counsel, judges continued to award Tinubu victory based on technicalities rather than delivering justice based on the merits of the case. He claimed this development had resulted in more than 20 questionable triumphs.

Shaibu lamented the fact that, as the last bastion of the common man, the Nigerian court had fallen short of expectations.

“Justice Maldonado, who has served on the bench for less than a year and who presided over this case for just over a month, has been able to do what the Nigerian judicial system could not do for 23 years,” he claimed.

This explains why Nigerian society is on the verge of devolving into the short, brutish, and ugly state of nature, as Thomas Hobbes once put it.

He slammed Babatunde Ogala, Tinubu’s attorney and a former national legal adviser for the All Progressives Congress, for calling the US court triumph a non-event.
