Abou Hurairah, the leader of Boko Haram, and others were slain in Borno

Abou Hurairah, a notorious Boko Haram commander, was killed after escaping several military assaults.

During the raid on a location in Marte Local Government Area, Borno State, Hurairah and other warlords were slain.

Using Alpha planes from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) bombarded the target.

In recent weeks, Hurairah and other Boko Haram terrorists have carried out a number of strikes in the Monguno region.

Defense intelligence source: “He also coordinated strikes in Marte, Ngala, Kukawa, and Abadam.”

Hurairah passed away after more than 100 terrorists were killed in Bama LGA late last month.

The Air Component of OPHK carried out the mission at Mantari village, where it killed the sect’s leaders Khalid Tukur, Maimusari, and Bakura Jega.
