The former England star believes Emiliano Martinez of Aston Villa is the best goalkeeper in the world.
Earlier last month in Qatar, Martinez contributed to Argentina’s victory at the World Cup. In the process, he retained three sets of fresh sheets.
No one, in Agbonlahor’s opinion, is better than the 30-year-old Argentine, who also made a number of saves during the World Cup final to ensure that the South Americans won their third championship.
The former Premier League striker Agbonlahor was questioned on Amazon Prime if he thought Martinez was one of the finest goalkeepers in the English top division. Agbonlahor responded: “I think he’s the best goalkeeper in the world.
“I mean, some of the tournament-long saves he made.
“He’s returning as the world’s top keeper.”
