The notion of Carlo Ancelotti managing Brazil’s national team before his deal with the Los Blancos expires on June 30, 2024, has been ruled out.
Ancelotti said this in an effort to dispel rumors that Tite was Tite’s successor as head coach of the Brazil national team.
The Italian claims that the Selecao never approached him about the position.
Ever since the role became available following Brazil’s withdrawal from the recently finished 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the former Chelsea and Everton manager has been connected with it.
When questioned about the Brazil position at his pre-match news conference on Thursday before Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Valladolid on Friday, Ancelotti responded: “I don’t know if they are interested because they have not contacted me. If they are, thank you for your interest, but my position is crystal clear: I intend to stay here until the journey is complete.
“I will never inform Real Madrid of my intention to stop playing or to leave.”
