The games against Manchester City in the FA Cup and the Premier League, according to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, would be “different” encounters.
At the end of January, the Gunners will travel to the Etihad to take on City in the FA Cup’s fourth round.
Then, in the middle of February, they welcome the league champions, in a match that could have an impact on the race for the championship this year.
“What is is what is. You have to play the same teams in other competitions, and I will definitely strive to prepare for the game to win it.
“That game [in the FA Cup vs City] will be quite different from the one in the league, but we know one other pretty well.
Every team is quite familiar with one another, and Arteta doesn’t anticipate that to change much.
