The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has launched applications for the Australia Awards Scholarships 2023/2024 in Australia.
All International Students from all over the world are urged to apply for the AAS Scholarship if they want to study for free in Australia on Fully Funded Scholarships. Students from underdeveloped nations can apply for Australian Scholarships to study for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree. The scholarship is valid for the academic year 2023/2024.
You can apply to universities in Australia as well as Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. Individuals’ skills and knowledge can be developed to influence change and contribute to development in their home countries through Australia Awards Scholarships.

The Australia Awards Scholarship is a fully funded, free grant available to all international students. All expenses will be reimbursed.
The following information is provided:
Tuition fees in full.
Tickets for round-trip air travel.
Establishment Allowance—a one-time payment made to help with living expenses, textbooks, and study materials.
Contribution to Monthly Living Expenses (CLE)
Overseas Student Health Insurance (OSHC)
Preparatory English (PCE) Fees—if necessary, PCE may be given for students for in-country and/or in-Australia training Supplementary academic help may be available to ensure a scholar’s academic achievement or to enrich their academic experience
For qualifying research students, one return economy class flight via the most direct route to their country of citizenship or within Australia may be granted for fieldwork (for research awards and Masters by coursework with a research component where fieldwork is compulsory).

Australia Awards are not offered for training in aviation, nuclear technologies, or military training.

Asia
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam are among the countries represented.
Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna, Wallis and Futuna
Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia are all in Africa.
Palestinian Territories in the Middle East.
Criteria for Eligibility for Australian Award Scholarships:
be at least 18 years old on the first of February of the scholarship year.
be a citizen of a participating country (as indicated on the Australia Awards website) and reside in and apply for the scholarship from their home country;
not be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency in Australia, or be applying for a visa to live permanently in Australia; not be married to, engaged to, or a de facto of a person who holds, or is eligible to hold, Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, at any time during the application, selection, or mobilization phases (note: residents of Cook Islands, Niue, and Tokelau with New Zealand citizenship are eligible but must apply for a Student Visa).
They must not be active-duty military personnel.
not have previously received a long-term Australia Award unless they have resided outside of Australia for twice the length of their total time in Australia (for example, a previous awardee who has been on an Australia Awards Scholarship in Australia for four years will not be eligible to apply for another Australia Awards Scholarship until they have resided outside of Australia for eight years); have satisfied any specific criteria established by the Program A This may not be known until Program Areas request a placement at specific institutions); be able to meet all Department of Home Affairs requirements for a Student Visa. If the beneficiary is unable to meet the visa criteria, the Program Area may be forced to withdraw an award offer.
Applicants must not apply for a scholarship for a course of study at a lower academic level than they already have (for example, applying for a Master’s scholarship when they already have a Ph.D.); and Applicants must inform the Program Area of any connection or relationship to staff employed at Program Areas (including locally engaged staff at the post) or with managing contractors in order for the application to be properly and transparently managed.
