The Nigeria Professional Football League season 2023–24 will begin with a match between the Kano Pillars and Owena Waves.
Ogunja predicted that in a few years, the league would be the finest on the continent because to strong and effective collaboration among football stakeholders.
He also praised the NPFL board’s initiative to raise the league’s standards.
In a conversation with the media, he said, “Our opening match against Kano Pillars is definitely a propeller.”
Playing the Kano pillars will help our squad quickly regain the balance they require, and with a strong performance that nets us three points, I think our confidence will increase.
September 9 will mark the beginning of the new season.
