Ladan Bosso, the head coach of the Flying Eagles, has invited 35 players to camp for the team’s second camping practice in preparation for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
On Monday, Abuja is slated to receive all of the invited players.
Among the famous players that Bosso has called up are Promise Bernard, Daniel Daga, and goalkeeper Nathaniel Nwosu.
Additionally, there is goalkeeper Chijioke Anigboso, as well as the defenders Benjamin Frederick, Nathaniel Tambe, and Hassan Shaibu, the midfielders Ibrahim Yahaya and Muhammad Aminu, the strikers Adams Olalekan and Ayuba Francis, and the backs.
For the last leg of their camping exercise, the Flying Eagles are anticipated to depart for either Spain or Morocco at the end of this month.
The hosts Egypt, Mozambique, and Senegal are also in Group A along with the seven-time champions.
Senegal will be the opponent for Bosso’s team on February 19 at the Cairo International Stadium in their opening match of the competition.
Three days later, they will play Egypt in their second group match, and on February 25, they will play Mozambique to complete the group stage.
It will be open from February 19 until March 11.
