Former Ogbomoso North chairman Adigun passes away at age 70

Hon. Noah Adigun, a former leader of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area in Oyo State, has passed away.

Adigun, a.k.a. Oba Ni Jesu, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 70.

According to a source who spoke to kuryaloaded, the former local government chairman passed away in the hospital where he had being treated for diabetes issues for approximately a month.

Over 20 years ago, he was chosen as the local government area’s chairman on the United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP) platform.

The source further said that although Adigun was raised in the Oponlu neighborhood of Okelerin, he is descended from the Ologolo royal dynasty of the Soun of Ogbomoso.

Before entering politics, he worked as a secondary school teacher, and he just recently turned 70.

According to the report, the deceased was survived by his wife and children.

The deceased’s death was confirmed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the local government of Ogbomoso North.

The shocking passing of one of its leaders, Hon. Adigun Olatunji Noah, who died today after a very brief illness, is regrettably announced by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogbomoso North Local Government.

“Oba Ni Jesu, as the deceased was affectionately known, was a steadfast member of the Akala Political Dynasty and the former Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government.

“May the Lord have mercy on his soul, comfort his family, and give them the strength to suffer this huge loss.”
