Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has declined to provide a timeline for Gabriel Jesus’s return.
Jesus suffered a knee injury while traveling with Brazil for the 2022 World Cup, and he had surgery.
Arteta doesn’t want to rush the former Manchester City striker back even though he is anticipated to be sidelined for about three months.
“The latest news is that he’s making excellent progress and working really hard. In terms of the timeline we established for his recuperation, he is on track, but it is still too soon to be fair.
There are always a lot of things you have to be cautious about, especially in the first few weeks, so we will have to be patient until he has a complicated surgery. “I would want to see him very quickly (back in the squad), but I don’t believe that’s going to happen.
In a press conference on Friday, Arteta said, “He’s a player that will challenge everybody there to be really fast on the pitch, but we have to be cautious.
