At the site of the future Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport in Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, Abiodun greeted Shtettima upon his arrival in the state.
The Vice President, according per Abiodun, was in the Gateway State for the funeral of Late Subomi Balogun.
On May 19, we lost Balogun, the 89-year-old founder of First City Monument Bank.
Saturday saw the burial of the octogenarian in Ijebu-Ode.
Abiodun, who posted pictures online, wrote, “This morning, we received His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, Iperu-Ilishan, as we made our way to the Funeral Church Service of Otunba Michael Olasubomi Balogun at Our Saviour Cathedral, Anglican Church in Ijebu-Ode.”
