He died in the early hours of Thursday, according to the kuryaloaded.
“As salam alaykum,” a source close to the family remarked. Wainna Ilaihu raajiun, InnaLillah. We regret to inform you of the death of the Grand Chief Imam of Oyo. May Allah, the Almighty, grant him Jannatul Firdaos. Amen”.
As of the time of writing, details of the Islamic cleric’s death were scarce.
