When Mason Greenwood’s loan to Getafe expires at the end of the next year, he will go back to Manchester United.

This season, Greenwood has joined the LaLiga team on a temporary basis after United announced that the 21-year-old will no longer play for them.

Since his arrest in January 2022, the striker hasn’t participated in any professional football games.

However, Greenwood now has the opportunity to relaunch his football career in Spain.

He is anticipated to return to Old Trafford in June.

Mason Greenwood has left the team on loan to join Getafe, but he will formally return to Manchester United in June 2024.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist, tweeted, “Understand Man United pays more than 50% of salary, just a small part covered by Getafe.”
