Oblak frequently faced off against Messi and Ronaldo while they were both attackers for Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, in La Liga.
The Slovenian said that Messi is a wonderful player and that he performs at the best level for Paris Saint-Germain.
When asked to choose between Messi and Ronaldo as the superior player, Oblak responded to GOAL, “It is a difficult question, definitely, but with Messi, I have always said it.”

The dispute over who is the “GOAT” has been going on for years, but Messi and Argentina recently won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, effectively putting a stop to it.
