Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain star, is said to have warned the club that if they want to keep him next summer, they must buy Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Mbappe would ‘love’ Silva to join him at PSG next season, according to The Sun.
According to the source, the France World Cup winner was unhappy with PSG’s signings last summer and believes the French Ligue 1 winners must show greater ambition if he is to stay until 2024.
Mbappe and Silva were teammates at Monaco, where they won the Ligue 1 title in 2016-2017.
Silva is a vital player for Manchester City under boss Pep Guardiola.
This season, the 28-year-old has appeared in 19 of their 20 Premier League matches, starting 15 of them.
Silva’s current contract with Manchester City expires in the summer of 2025, but the Portugal international has been contemplating his future at the Etihad Stadium for some time.
