N’Golo Kante’s choice about Chelsea’s future is made public

The specifics of a recent conversation between N’Golo Kante and Chelsea over the midfielder have come to light.

Fabrizio Romano, a well-known transfer specialist, claims that the France international is “very undecided” about continuing at Stamford Bridge.

The player’s current contract expires at the end of the current season, thus the club management held new negotiations with the player’s representation about his future.

He wants to sign a reduced contract at Stamford Bridge because Chelsea wants to keep him.

The highest-paid player at Stamford right now makes £300,000 a week, and the Frenchman, 31, is open to taking a pay cut.

He does not, however, like the two-year length of the deal that is being offered to him.

Kalidou Koulibaly, a 31-year-old defender just brought to the team, was awarded a four-year contract only five months ago.

Kante, according to Romano, “loves” the team and is open to staying, but it depends on the offer.

Kante is reportedly “tossing about” the idea of staying at the club and is amenable to discussion.
