The FA has launched an investigation into claims that there were abnormal betting patterns during Monday night’s 3-0 FA Cup victory by Arsenal over Oxford United.
According to The Daily Mail, the subject of the investigations is a player’s booking during the third-round match.
The FA is reviewing information that has been forwarded to it since the conclusion of the game.
After the first 45 minutes finished with no goals, Eddie Nketiah grabbed a pair of goals in the second half.
As Arsenal secured a match against Manchester City in the fourth round, Mohamed Elneny also scored.
