Molde FK and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the sale of David Datro Fofana.

On Wednesday, the Premier League team made the trade official.

Graham Potter has been attempting to expand his attacking lineup due to a lack of forward options.

After being carried off during a friendly encounter against Aston Villa in Abu Dhabi, Armando Broja will be out for a while.

For an alleged cost of £10.93 million, Fofana will join the team on January 1.

The 20-year-old earned his international debut for Ivory Coast in a November 4-0 friendly victory over Burundi.

In 24 games for Molde, he has provided 15 goals and 5 assists. In his ten appearances in the Europa League conference qualifications and main tournament this season, he also scored four goals.
