Rio Ferdinand, a former player for Manchester United, selected Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka over Riya Mahrez as the opponent who poses the most threat.
Saka’s quickness, in Ferdinand’s opinion, makes him a greater threat to the opposition, while Mahrez is crazy, he adds.
Both Saka and Mahrez have scored goals this season for their respective club teams.
In the FA Cup fourth-round match between Arsenal and Man City later this month, the pair is anticipated to square off against one another.
Rio Ferdinand remarked on the FIVE YouTube channel, “If I had to play against one or the other, I would choose to play against Mahrez over Saka because [of] Saka’s pace.
“If I were to play full-back, he would try to go by you all the time for me as a defender.
“He’s a constant threat to come from behind you, whereas Mahrez takes little rests during games.
“Hey, Mahrez is crazy. In either case, he’s one of the most proficient and successful take-on players.
