Arsenal are interested in signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, according to football trade expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano also acknowledged that Felix’s high asking price would make it challenging for Arsenal to complete the transaction.
Romano explained why he thinks Arsenal will have trouble luring the Portugal international in his blog for GiveMeSport.
“It’s true they spoke with his representative, Jorge Mendes,” stated Romano.
But it depends on the terms of the sale since, in my opinion, it will be challenging if it is worth more than €100 million.
In recent days, Felix has been widely linked to moves away from Atletico Madrid.
Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico Madrid, and the 23-year-old player are reportedly nearing breaking point in their relationship.
