Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, an outspoken critic of the Yoruba Nation, has lost his mother.

Mrs. Adeyemo passed away on Saturday night, according to a tweet from Igboho’s spokeswoman, Olayomi Koiki.

Igboho wrote on Instagram, “My heart is heavy,” confirming her death. It’s just me and this crazy world out here. Who could I turn to, mama mi? Leaving is a difficult experience for me.

The icy grasp of death snatched you away. It slithers out of the shadows and grabs you. I can’t take much more of this.

The Department of State Services (DSS) in Ibadan reportedly designated Igboho wanted in July 2021, and Interpol subsequently apprehended him at Cadjèhoun Airport in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

After being granted medical permission to return to Cotonou, the capital of the Benin Republic, in March 2022, Igboho has refused to leave the country.
