Nigeria has what it takes to win the World Cup, according to Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
This was said by Motsepe in a Channels Television interview.
Due to their defeat to rival Ghana in the playoffs in March, the Super Eagles were unable to advance to this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
The three-time African champions are talented enough to win the title of world champion, according to Motsepe.
“The potential, God-given abilities, and history of Nigerian football give me complete confidence.
“One of those nations with potential is Nigeria. Not simply to advance to the semifinals or championship game, but to take home the World Cup, stated Motsepe.
