Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has acknowledged that he is willing to move out on loan from Watford in January, a team in the Sky Bet Championship.
Okoye joined the Hornets in the summer after leaving Eredivisie team Sparta Rotterdam.
The 23-year-old has yet to play a single Championship game for the London team.
The Carabao Cup loss to MK Dons was the only time the shot-stopper appeared for Watford.
When the transfer window reopens the following month, there are rumors that Okoye may be on his way back to the Eredivisie on loan.
After an outstanding two-year run with Sparta Rotterdam, the former Fortuna Dusseldorf goaltender has a solid reputation in the Netherlands.
“We’ll wait and see. Given that my contract is valid until 2027, anything is feasible. Okoye said Voetbal Primeur, “I don’t know yet whether I’ll be rented out or not.
The Dutch league? I agree that sounds interesting. The clubs in the Netherlands are quite familiar with me from Sparta and are aware of my potential. We shall see.
I’m concentrating solely on Watford and the next games for the time being.
