In light of allegations that they were responsible for the death of Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, the human rights organization Save the Poor and Needy Charity Initiative (SPANCI) has urged the Federal Government and security agencies to seize the assets of Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Samson Erinfolabi Balogun, also known as Sam Larry.
It also suggested that Sam Larry and Naira Marley be placed on the wanted list.
Mohbad’s death last week was mysterious.
These demands were stated by the organization’s president, Comrade Yemi Bello, in a statement released on Friday to kuryaloaded.
He demanded immediate action after hearing reports that Sam Larry, who is believed to be currently outside of Nigeria, had threatened Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who has been at the forefront of the movement for justice in Mohbad’s death.
We demand that the federal government investigate the origins of their wealth and seize their assets. We demand that they be declared sought without delay, and we demand that the governments of the countries where they currently reside deport them without further delay so that they may demonstrate their innocence.
