Posted by On Friday, Al Nassr of the Saudi Arabian league sealed the acquisition of former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
After his agreement with Manchester United was ended in November, Ronaldo was a free agent for just over a month.
The former striker for Real Madrid, Juventus, and Sporting Lisbon is now the highest-paid athlete in the world when ad income is taken into account.
According to CBS Sports, Ronaldo would make €216 million year if his deal with Al Nassr were fully ratified.
By far, this cannot be compared to the €75 million that Paris Saint-Germain stars Lionel Messi and Neymar earn each season.
