Posted by Nigeria must win the war against terror and terrorism, according to Solomon Arase, chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC).
After new Police Commissioners were appointed in Bayelsa and Borno States, the PSC Chairman made the claims in a statement released on Monday by the Commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani.
Then, Arase instructed the Police Commissioners to rethink their approach and reclaim the public sphere from the influence of non-state actors.
He encouraged us to “make sure the President’s vision for better national security gets the attention it needs.”
You may remember that the Police Service selected Alausa Hakeem Tolani as the new Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa State and redeployed Yusuf Mohammed Lawal to Borno State.
