The most recent information regarding Chelsea’s acquisition of Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos has been released by football trade guru Fabrizio Romano.
According to Romano, Chelsea is about to finalize the signing of Santos for a base price of € 12.5 million plus add-ons.
He claims that if the Premier League powerhouses activate the 18-year-old star’s release clause, they will ultimately have to fork up more money than €20 million.
On Wednesday, Romano revealed this in a post sent from his Twitter account.
He tweeted, “Contracts are being prepared on both the club and player side. Chelsea are set to finalize Andrey Santos deal with Vasco da Gama.
“I’ve been told that the guaranteed fee is €12.5m plus add-ons. However, Chelsea won’t ultimately have to fork over more money than a €20 million possible cost.
Santos, who has scored eight league goals for Vasco de Gama, has played for Brazil at the U20 level.
