Posted by Yaya Toure, a Manchester City icon, said that he was always nervous about facing Didier Drogba, a Chelsea legend, during their time together in the English Premier League (EPL).
Toure is considered one of the greatest Premier League midfielders ever.
During his eight years at Man City, during which time the team won the title three times, he gained widespread acclaim from fans.
Toure, though, has come clean about how much he disliked fighting Drogba, a fellow Ivory Coast native who was a constant threat for the English team.
Toure, as quoted by ESPN, has remarked of Drogba, “the guy I always feared to play against was him.”
His header was more powerful than his shot, in my opinion.
Among his 254 league appearances, five of Drogba’s 104 goals came in 15 contests versus Man City.
