According to Joe Igbokwe, “I was furious, angry” after hearing about the elimination of fuel subsidies.

The withdrawal of the fuel subsidy has had a devastating impact, according to Joe Igbokwe, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State.

Igbokwe claims he recently became enraged after spending N20,000 on fuel that only filled up half of his tank.

The APC leader said on his Facebook page on Friday that he had learned self-discipline and thinks carefully about his destination before going there.

He complained that despite filling up his 4×4 with $20,000 worth of gas, the gauge never even reached halfway. The gas station clerk swindled me, or so I believed. I was fuming with rage. It was the same at a different Station that I checked out. I finally learned self-control. It’s not a place I frequent any longer.
