The 2023 Grammy Awards were presented on Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The 65th Grammy Awards, widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious music honors, included huge wins for Adele and Beyoncé, as well as Harry Styles and Kendrick Lamar.

After earning her 32nd prize at the presentation, Beyonce became the biggest winner in history.

“Harry’s House” by Harry Styles was named album of the year.

Samara Joy (best new artist), Lizzo (record of the year), and Bonnie Raitt were also honored (song of the year).

Tems, real name Temilade Openiyi, of Nigeria, won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category on Sunday night for her role in ‘Wait for U,’ Future’s 2022 smash song featuring Drake.

Tems is the first female Nigerian musician to receive a Grammy nomination.

Burna Boy, on the other hand, was denied two awards at the presentation.

South Africa’s Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini & Nomcebo Zikode defeated the Nigerian singer’s ‘Last Last’ to claim the award for the Best Global Music performance.
