If Chelsea wants to sign Josko Gvardiola from RB Leipzig in January, they will have to pay the highest price ever for a defender.
This is what Fabrizio Romano claims (via Give Me Sport).
Gvardiol, who excelled for Croatia at the just finished World Cup in Qatar, is wanted by the Blues.
In order to beat off Morocco for third place, Gvardiol scored once.
Leipzig’s current demands well exceed €90 million. They intend to make Gvardiol the most expensive center-back ever by asking for more than €100 million.
Chelsea is still putting effort into it. They continue to communicate with Leipzig and the player’s friends and family, according to Romano.
