Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi respond to Pele’s passing

Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, responded to the passing of Pele on Thursday night.

According to kuryaloaded, Pele’s family posted on the football legend’s official Instagram account on Thursday to share the news of his passing.

Since having surgery to remove a tumor from his intestines in September 2021, Pele had been getting routine medical care.

Near the end of 2022, the 82-year-old patient was readmitted to the hospital.

In response, Messi tweeted a photo of himself and Pele wearing suits to his Instagram account along with the message, “Rest in peace, @pele.”

Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his sorrow to the entire Brazilian nation and in particular to the family of Edson Arantes do Nascimento in a statement. The anguish being felt by the entire football world right now cannot be adequately expressed by by saying “goodbye” to the eternal King Pelé.

“An inspiration to so many others, a reference from then until now. Every time we interacted, even remotely, I felt the love you always showed me. He will always be remembered, and each and every one of us who love football will always carry his memories with us. Let King Pelé rest in peace.

One of the best football players in history is Pele.
