To acquire Rice from West Ham United, the North London club has agreed to pay £100 million plus an additional £5 million.
Petit, when asked about Rice, referred to him as “a bargain” (via talkSPORT). Even at a young age, his talent and maturity shine through. He’s got a winning attitude and a head for leadership.
For many years, Arsenal lacked strong leadership, but I believe Declan Rice has the makings of a captain both on and off the field. I think Declan’s style of play and Arteta’s team’s would be a great match for each other.
