Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has confidence in Marcus Rashford to fill the vacuum left by Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.
The 37-year-contract old’s will be terminated in November with the mutual consent of United and Ronaldo.
Only Anthony Martial and Rashford remain in the squad as senior strikers for Ten Hag.
Ronaldo was available for the first several months of the year, but United has had trouble scoring.
With 20 goals, they have the fewest goals among the top eight in the Premier League.
Rashford, who recently returned from the World Cup where he scored three goals, can fill the gap, according to Ten Hag.
“In the Premier League, I believe he is capable of scoring 20 goals.
“We know he has the potential to score such figures in the Premier League because he scored three in the World Cup.
We are not a problem on the front line when you analyze the first 14 games, or however many there were, Ten Hag stated.
