Pele’s final post before passing away

On December 18, the Argentina team led by Lionel Messi received congratulations from Pele, a Brazilian superstar who passed away on Thursday, for winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to kuryaloaded, Pele’s family shared the news of his departure on Thursday night through a post on the football legend’s official Instagram account.

The legendary football player is recognized as one of the sport’s all-time greats.

The 82-year-old had been undergoing routine medical care ever since having surgery to remove a colon tumor in September 2021.

Near the end of 2022, Pele was readmitted to the hospital.

On December 18, 2022, Pele posted a picture of the Argentina national team celebrating with the FIFA World Cup trophy at Lusail Stadium in Qatar after defeating France in the championship match on his Instagram profile.

The former Brazilian minister of sports also stated: “Today, football continues to tell its tale in a fascinating manner, as it always has. Messi’s first World Cup victory was something his career trajectory merited. In the championship, my close friend Mbappé scored four goals. What a privilege it was to see this show for our sport’s future. I also had to commend Morocco for their outstanding campaign. It’s wonderful to see Africa prosper. Argentina, congratulations! Diego is definitely grinning right now.
