Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has provided a concerning injury update on Ederson, who left Sunday’s 1-1 match with Liverpool on a limp.
Darwin Nunez slipped off Ederson’s extended leg in the early stages of the second half, rendering him unable to complete the game.
Alexis MacAllister scored an equalizer after referee Michael Oliver pointed to the spot.
But Stefan Ortega had to replace Ederson.
In regards to Ederson’s injury, Guardiola provided a brief statement following the match at Anfield.
I don’t think it looks good, he told BeIN Sports.
After dropping one point to Liverpool and Arsenal, City moved up to third place in the Premier League with 63 points.
