Pep Guardiola responded to Jack Grealish’s assertion that it was challenging to adjust to life under the Spaniard as the manager of Manchester City.
Grealish recently admitted that, under Guardiola, he had a difficult time adjusting to life at Manchester City.
Nevertheless, in response, Guardiola emphasized that playing in his system is “easy” during his press conference on Tuesday.
Grealish left Aston Villa for City in the summer of 2021 for £100 million, but he has scored just seven goals since then.
Guardiola, a Spaniard, countered, “For me, it’s not hard – the way we want to play is so basic.
“Run without the ball, everyone, to aid one another, and run with the ball to put yourselves in better situations to get the ball.
I read Jack’s remarks and realized what he was saying when he stated, “Do anything you want, move here, move there, right, left.”
But Guardiola acknowledged that the way the team plays at Manchester City differs from how Grealish played at Aston Villa.
