Mendes called Real Madrid “several times,” according to The Athletic, regarding a potential return.
The La Liga team, where Ronaldo won four Champions League titles between 2014 and 2018, showed no interest in signing him last summer.
After Manchester United failed to qualify for the Champions League, Ronaldo made it plain that he wanted to leave the Premier League club, but no other team in the competition moved forward.
