Ilebaye Odiniya, the victor of the Big Brother Naija All-stars Season Reality Television Show, which ended Sunday, has been congratulated by Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Bello claimed that Ilebaye’s success was proof of her intelligence, tenacity, and humility in a statement released in Lokoja by his media assistant, Onogwu Mohammed.
Ilebaye, a criminology graduate from Salem University in Lokoja, was hailed by the governor as Kogi’s pride and a true trendsetter.
“I am happy to congratulate Ilebaye Odiniya, a resident of Kog, on winning the Big Brother Naija All Stars Season reality competition.
“Ilebaye, you are Kogi’s pride and a trendsetter who has achieved success in both the social and intellectual realms.
This triumph is a tribute to your intelligence, maturity, and genius. During the three months you were in the house, your tenacity, fortitude, and poise marked you apart,” he stated.
Ilebaye defeated Mercy Eke, who received 23.48% of the total votes, with a score of 30.8%.
Many were startled by her victory because, during her “Level Up” 2022 season, she had been evicted after three weeks and was the underdog in the All-Stars season.
