The Kwara State Chapter of the National League of Veteran Journalists, NALVEJ, has set January 11, 2023 as the date for its annual lecture.
The lecture’s theme is “Towards A Peaceful 2023 General Elections,” according to a statement made on Wednesday in Ilorin by the chairman and secretary of the league’s planning committee, respectively, Abdulrazaq Adebayo and Abdullahi Olesin. The lecture will take place at the NUJ Press Centre, GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State.
A legal legend, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali (SAN), will serve as the guest lecturer, while Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is anticipated to be the special guest of honor at the occasion.
Olusin of Ijara-Isin, Oba Ajibola Ademola Julius, Amuludun Iluyomade I, Onipe of Ipee, Oba Mufutau Adebayo Lawal Titiloye III, and Olojoku of Ojoku are among the royal fathers of the time listed.

Candidates for the state’s governor are among the honorees. Candidates for the Senate and the House of Representatives from all political parties are anticipated to attend the event.
