John Barnes believes that clubs will place in the top four this year

John Barnes, a legend of Liverpool, projected that the teams would place in the top four of the Premier League this year.

Currently, Arsenal is five points ahead of Manchester City in second place in the Premier League standings.

Tottenham Hotspur is in the fourth spot, followed by Newcastle United in third.

Barnes, however, thinks that at the end of the 2022–23 campaign, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur—teams who he stated are more likely to finish than Manchester United—will be in the top four and secure a position in the UEFA Champions League.

“Man City and Arsenal are likely first and second. It’s unlikely that will change. Naturally, there are other teams like Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United,” Barnes said to Bonus Code Bets.

Chelsea, despite their victory yesterday, have been inconsistent, Barnes continued. Man Utd will get better. Tottenham, in my opinion, will also become less consistent. Therefore, I believe Tottenham and Chelsea may fall in the standings.

“Since Cristiano Ronaldo was released, Manchester United has performed extremely well. They appear to be a little more assured, but I still anticipate erratic behavior from them. Liverpool should finish third or fourth, according to my predictions. We need to keep an eye out for Tottenham more so than for Manchester United, in my opinion.
