Man City will collect the most FIFA bonus compared to Barcelona and other teams

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar, and Manchester City will get the largest incentive payment from FIFA for releasing players.

Man City will reportedly get $4,596,445 from FIFA’s Club Benefits Programme, as reported by ESPN on Thursday.

Following Bayern Munich’s $4,331,809 payout, Barcelona will collect $4,538,955.

Al Sadd SC of Qatar earned $2,817,911 in revenue, making it the highest-earning club outside of Europe.

In the report’s introduction, FIFA president Gianni Infantino remarked, “In this respect, the FIFA Club Benefits Programme recognises the contribution that clubs make to the success of the FIFA World Cup.”

Totaling $209 million, FIFA will compensate clubs whose players competed in the 2022 World Cup.

The international soccer federation plans to transfer $355 million to clubs for the 2026 and 2030 tournaments.
