Man Utd will get a World Cup striker to take Ronaldo’s place

Wout Weghorst is being discussed by Manchester United as a loan player from Burnley.

Weghorst, a 2022 World Cup player who scored twice against Argentina, is currently on loan to Besiktas in Turkey for the season.

However, that might change now that Erik Ten Hag, the manager of United, is considering him.

United is looking into borrowing options this month due to their tight finances in January.

In 20 appearances this season for club and country, Weghorst has scored 10 goals, one of which came on Saturday against Kasimpasa.

Following his goal, the 6 foot 6 inch striker waved to the crowd as if saying goodbye.

After the club terminated Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract in November, Ten Hag is eager to expand his alternatives in the offensive department.
