Andre Onana will offer two things to Manchester United, according to Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand.
Since David De Gea, Man United’s first-choice goalkeeper, saw his contract expire a few days ago, the club is eager to sign Onana from Inter Milan this summer.
But Ferdinand thinks the Cameroonian goalie will give Ten Hag’s squad more confidence and the ability to play out from the back.
I think he matches ten Hag’s team, and he will give Manchester United greater confidence and the ability to play out from the back,” Ferdinand told FiveUk about Onana.
“He is the epitome of the contemporary goalkeeper. Teams are putting pressure on him, but he keeps his cool.
