Over fifty thousand people have signed a petition to outlaw Marlian music.

After the untimely passing of Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba), a former signee to the Naira Marley–owned record label Marlian Music, a petition was started on change.org.org.

The musician said that record label head Naira Marley and his goons had repeatedly threatened his life.

Mohbad’s death was officially announced on September 10, 2023, according to kuryaloaded. There is still no word on what killed him.

The police confirmed on Thursday that they are looking into Mohbad’s death.

But angry fans have started a petition to shut down the late singer’s former record label, Marlian Music.

As of the time this post was written, the petition had over 50,000 backers.
