Paul Pogba, a midfielder for France, will not be allowed to watch the 2022 World Cup championship game.
Only a few weeks after his return to Turin from Manchester United, the Juventus star suffered an injury that forced him to withdraw from the tournament in Qatar.
The knee issue finally required surgery for Pogba.
Pogba was compelled to miss the World Cup, but it seems arrangements have been made for him to attend the championship game at the Lusail Stadium.
According to L’Equipe, French President Emmanuel Macron is eager to bring the team’s injured absentees to Qatar for the final in order to help his nation win its second straight championship.
Pogba is now recuperating, therefore Juventus are not keen on his taking a long flight.
Pogba’s rehabilitation has taken longer than anticipated, and he has yet to resume training. The Italian heavyweights are unwilling to risk Pogba’s comeback any further.
