PSG warns Mbappe about signing a new contract, saying it’s “impossible.”

Paris Saint-Germain have stated once again that if Kylian Mbappe does not sign a new deal by the end of the season, he will be sold.

Last month, Mbappe wrote to the Ligue 1 champions to make it clear that he will not extend his contract past June 2024.

This implies that the French forward will be available for free next season unless PSG sells him before then.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the club’s president, said on Wednesday that Mbappe will not be permitted to play out the final year of his contract.

We can’t have him walking out the door on us in 2024. Our stance is crystal clear. Kylian is welcome to remain as long as he likes. However, a new agreement must be signed by him. We can’t afford to let the world’s top player go for nothing. Al-Khelaifi categorically rejected the idea.
