Posted by Adegboyega Oyetola, a former governor of Osun State, has called the death of Dr. Samuel Ibiyemi, publisher of the Nigeria NewsDirect newspaper, “shocking and devastating.”
He claimed that Ibiyemi’s absence would be felt by everyone in the media and in Osun.
The media professional apparently passed away on Tuesday night after a brief illness, according to information obtained by KURYALOADED
Oyetola, in a personally signed note, expressed his shock at hearing of Ibiyemi’s passing and said that the man was a true gentleman who dedicated his life to helping others and to God.
“The news of Dr. Ibiyemi’s death came to us as a rude shock,” he said. He was a polished individual with uncommon virtues, a true gentleman whose footprints in the media industry and beyond would leave an indelible mark on the minds of anybody who met him.
The late Ibiyemi was noted for his exceptional human relations, and his humility and positivity were often cited as examples.
Everyone will die eventually, but if you’re a believer like me, you may rest assured that your loved one will be rewarded in heaven for all the good you did on earth.
“Though his death is painful and unexpected, we must take solace in the fact that he lived a life worthy of emulation,” and “we pray God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.”
Oyetola prayed for the strength to endure the loss of the deceased’s loved ones and offered his deepest sympathies to the deceased’s spouse and children.
