Controversial For his own safety, Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a. Portable, has advised prominent music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, also known as TG Omori or Boy Director, not to visit the Lekki region of Lagos State or Sango.
This comes after Omori gave in to Portable’s requests to shoot his video on Tuesday, despite relentless social media assaults.
TG Omori told Portable to email him a song so he could do the video, but he has yet to say whether it will be free or if he will waive the $50k price.
Following the proposal, the pair began an Instagram live session. Portable, who was dissatisfied with TG Omori’s high fees, questioned the director for not loving him again as he asked for his help.
He then playfully cautioned the music director not to visit Lekki or Sango for fear of getting into a fight if they met.
The Zazuu star questioned the director’s approach and suggested that he should have continued his provocative behavior and seen what occurred.
In response, TG Omori stated that it was not personal and that he was solely interested in money.
Earlier last month, Omori sought $50k (about N22 million) from Portable for a video shoot, which enraged the “Zazu Zeh” crooner, who inquired whether the filmmaker produced films for ghosts.
