Shettima promises that peace and prosperity will return to the north

The government of President Bola Tinubu has promised to reveal a plan to combat the insurgency and poverty plaguing Nigeria, particularly in the country’s northern area.

Vice President Kashim Shettima made this clear in an interview with journalists during a trip to Kano to express his condolences.

Shettima was in Kano to express his condolences to the government and people following the death of Alhaji Abubakar Imam Galadanci, a respected elder statesman.

The situation we’re facing in the Northwest, which is exacerbated by poverty, and the President’s commitment to defining the meaning and notion of modern governance are two examples. The President is also committed to directly addressing the issue of social isolation, and he plans to introduce the Pulaku solution in the coming weeks.

A military solution to the issue in the northwest is impossible unless we wish to fight an eternal battle of attrition. A kinetic and an akinetic answer are both necessary.

The Pulaku solution, he said, “will address the grievances and social exclusion of our Fulbe cousins in the northwest and also towards addressing the root causes of all the banditry and insurgency in the nation in the next couple of weeks.”

Vice President Osinbajo, after being welcomed by Governor Abba Yusuf, went to the home of HRH Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi, to convey President Tinubu’s condolences on the death of the late Imam Galadanci.

Shettima offered condolences on Tinubu’s behalf, praying that Allah would grant the departed a peaceful afterlife and comfort to the entire Galadanci family.
